MOCHA BROWNIES

INGREDIENTS

 

Brownie
• 150g butter, chopped
• 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
• 3/4 cup cocoa powder
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 2 large eggs
• 1/2 cup plain flour

Topping
• 1 tsp instant coffee granules
• 1 tsp cocoa powder
• 2 tbs Almond Breeze Chocolate
• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
• 125g butter softened for topping
• 2 cups icing sugar
• 16 strawberries, hulled and trimmed
• Piping bag with small nozzle
• 1/2 cup (125mL) thickened cream, whipped

METHOD

1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat add banana, Almond Breeze, almond butter, maple syrup and ground cinnamon
2. Increase the heat to high and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring frequently until mixture thickens
3. Reduce the heat to medium and stir in oats and vanilla extract. Stir until combined
4. Spoon the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
5. Place in the fridge until set
