Dairy-Free Creamed Rice

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 litre Original Almond Breeze
  • 1/3 cup caster sugar (or use brown sugar to make more like porridge)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup uncooked rice
  • Blueberries, to serve
  • Honey, to serve
  • Cinnamon, to serve

 

METHOD

  1. Combine almond milk, sugar and vanilla extract in saucepan. Bring to a simmer
  2. Add rice and cook, stirring occasionally for 40 minutes until rice is creamy
  3. Serve with blueberries, cinnamon and a drizzle of honey
